JetBlue Introduces New Premium Class

JetBlue New Premium Class_3

JetBlue, one of America’s first discount, no-frills airlines, has done something it said in the past it would never do: establish a new premium class of passenger service. The new class, known as Mint service, is now being offered on the New York to Los Angeles route. It will eventually be expanded to include the New York to San Francisco route as well.

JetBlue says it made the decision after customers on the two routes began requesting first-class service. Mint service includes hot meals, extra-wide seats that double as beds, and a number of other amenities.
