How We Research Our Guides
We don’t accept payment for placement in any ranking, and properties can’t buy their way into our guides. Our recommendations are built from published rate data across seasons, operator and property specifications, safety and quality credentials — such as ARGUS and Wyvern ratings for private jet operators and professional guide certifications for safari camps — and sustained reputation across expert and traveler communities. When something changes (a renovation, a rate jump, a new route), we update the guide and note the revision date.
