Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong World's 'Highest' Hotel

The world’s “most vertical city” is home to the brand-new Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong, a five-star luxury hotel which opened in March 2011. The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong continues the tradition of world-class accommodations in the finest destinations the Ritz-Carlton name is known for. This new hotel also qualifies as the “highest” in the world, taking up floors 102 to 118 in the city’s International Commerce Centre.

The property offers absolutely stunning views of the Hong Kong skyline, the harbour, and the Chinese mainland. Situated in the heart of the city, the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong is just 20 minutes from the airport and five minutes from the city centre. It is a perfect venue for meetings, business gatherings, trade shows, and as a launching pad for wonderful Asian holiday.

Accommodations
The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong features 312 total rooms, all with spectacular views. Rooms begin with the 530 ft.² Deluxe, and vary in size and amenities all the way up through the Ritz-Carlton suite; a 3920 ft.² space of absolute magnificence. Club Level rooms offer guests special perks such as access to Club Concierge and the Club Lounge complete with complimentary food and beverages 24 hours a day. All rooms are tastefully decorated and equipped with the latest state-of-the-art technology including flatscreen TVs, DVD/Blu-Ray players, iPod docking stations, and Wi-Fi.

Amenities
Amenities are what separate good hotels from great ones, and at the Ritz Carlton Hong Kong, there is no shortage of them. The Ritz-Carlton Spa by ESPA provides nine luxurious and fully furnished treatment rooms and two couples’s suites, where the industry’s best therapists will treat you to a spa experience unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. The 18th floor fitness centre and affinity swimming pool, complete with a 92′ LCD-screened ceiling, complete a package that is good for both body and soul.

Dining and Ballroom
One of the hotel’s best aspects is the wide range of dining options. The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong offers six dining options providing an eclectic mix of Cantonese, Italian, Japanese, and local cuisines. Three of the restaurants are located on the 102nd floor while the Ozone, nicknamed by hotel officials as the property’s “crown jewel”, offers one of the most incredible dining experiences from the 118th floor. Finally, the 10,000 square-foot grand ballroom and four adjoining 1,000 square-foot meeting rooms make the hotel a perfect location for your large gatherings, family events, and weddings.

Rates start at over $500 per night.
